Outbreak of Novel Coronavirus

The World Health Organization (WHO) declared the Corona Virus (COVID-19) outbreak a pandemic on 11th March 2020. Ocean Network Express (ONE) is committed to weather through this crisis together with our valued customers in these times of uncertainty and disruption.

Further to our Customer Advisory dated January 23, 2020, we would like to update you on General Average status of the vessel and GA Security requirements for this incident.

Due to the slow inbound container pick-up activity caused by the outbreak of Novel Coronavirus and the extension of the Lunar New Year holidays, some Chinese terminals, especially Xingang (Tianjin) and Shanghai are already facing a serious shortage of available reefer plugs.

In order to minimize any negative impact on our customer’s import cargo moving into mainland China, ONE will not apply container detention charges (excluding port storage, monitoring fee) over the 24th January to 9th February 2020 period (inclusive of both dates).

Ocean Network Express (ONE) is participating at the upcomiing Fruit Logistica 2020 in Berlin, Germany.

General Average (“GA”) of Northern Jupiter (deployed in AU1 service) was declared on January 17, 2020.

The Philippines Bureau of Customs recently issued a Customs Memorandum Order 48-2019 and we highlight the changes as follows with effective date retrospect as of 16th October 2019.

In continuation to the earlier announced changes to East Coast services, ONE would like to update
the capacity changes to Pacific South West (PSW) services without any changes to the current
service rotation.
